The Hotel Aspinwall, now Kennedy Park in Lenox Massachusetts was once called "The Hotel Beautiful".

Granliden Hotel started as a small guest house, that became a big time resort hotel in 1905. It's  9 hole golf course originally designed by Alex Findley was was redesigned by renowned golf course architect Walter Travis.  The current course still holds true to the layout done by Travis although the lengths of some holes has changed due to the addition of extra tees.
