KNIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Schenectady, county of Schenectady, State of New York, have invented certain new and useful improvements in Golf Clubs, of which the following is a specification. The object of my invention is to produce a golf club in which the line of flight of the ball may more truly conform to the direction of the blow delivered by the player....................... .................... Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is 1. A golf club provided with a tubular elastic non-fibrous shaft. 2. A golf club provided with a shaft of steel tubing. 3. A golf club provided with a tubular metallic shaft in which volume of metal decreases toward the head. 4.
