"Bobby" Jones

1908 (Age 6) Wins East Lake children's tournament defeating Miss Alexa Stirling who would go on to win three US Women's Amateur titles, finish runner-up three times and win the Canadian Open twice.

East Lakes GC , Atlanta. The young Jones played there from the age of 5 and soon demonstrated a natural talent. He became junior club champion when he was just 9.

At 13, he broke the course record with a 73 at Druid Hills GC to become the club champion.

At age 14 defeats father for 1st East Lake GC club championship

at age 15 defeats Paul Adair for 2nd and final East Lake GC club championship

1930 (Age 29) Becomes the only player to ever win the  Original Grand Slam of Golf. Winning the British Amateur, the British Open, the US Open, and the US Amateur Completing his record of winning 13 majors in 24 entries a record that holds to this day..
