Golfing on The World's Most Exceptional Courses

Travel along with Mark Rowlinson as he takes you "Golfing On The World's Most Exceptional Courses". Enjoy h is insights into the golf architect's thoughts as well as the average golfer's as he takes us around the world of golf on a tour that most will only enjoy from their armchairs. For all who have had the pleasure of golfing on the Stan Thompson designed Banff Springs it is really no surprise that "The Devil's Cauldron" is gracing the cover of a book on exceptional golf courses.

From page 22 Rowlinson's description of the hole "Everything is perfectly clear as the player stands on the tee. The green is some way below, sloping towards the player beyond a small glacial lake, surrounded by sand and grassy slopes leading up to the trees and rocks that frame the hole. it may look entirely natural, but the green-site was blasted out of the rocks , the creation of man and dynamite ! "
